2026 Cadillac Vistiq First Look Review: What We Know So Far

Cadillac has revealed the first bits of information and two images of its new Vistiq three-row electric SUV shortly after revealing the smaller Optiq, recently. The Vistiq will be positioned between the two-row Lyriq and Escalade IQ in the brand's lineup, and we expect it to be a mid-sized vehicle, leaving the full-size category to the IQ. Although no technical information has been released, we can safely assume the Vistiq will share power outputs that are at least comparable with the Lyriq, along with the brand's latest driver-assistance and infotainment technologies. It will be one of the few three-row electric SUVs for sale in the USA.

When Is The Cadillac Vistiq Coming Out?

The release date for the Cadillac Vistiq is unconfirmed, but as a 2026 model, we expect it to be coming out in the second half of 2025. Cadillac confirmed that more Vistiq details will be shared in 2024.

What's The Price of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq?

No price for the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq has been announced, but we expect it to be closer to the Lyriq than the Escalade IQ. The 2024 Lyriq starts at an MSRP of $57,195 and goes up to around $70,000, so a starting price in the mid-$60k for the base 2026 Vistiq seems about right.

None of the Lyriq's midsize rivals have three rows, so the new Cadillac Vistiq SUV will be quite a unique proposition when it arrives. The Kia EV9 is another three-row electric SUV with a similar price range, but it's not in the same luxury category as the Vistiq.

New Cadillac Vistiq Exterior and Colors

Clearly a relative of the Lyriq, the exterior design of the Cadillac Vistiq shows off the same sharp, upscale design language. It's characterized by strong vertical lighting front and rear, large alloy wheels, and the Black Crystal Shield grille from the Lyriq with its laser-etched details. Flush-fitting door handles contribute to the clean, high-tech aesthetics.

The roofline is the main difference between the Lyriq and Vistiq. Since the former only has to accommodate two seating rows, it has a more stylish sloping roofline, whereas the Vistiq has a straighter, boxier roofline that should improve practicality.

The Vistiq pictured here sports 22-inch alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport all-season rubber, but other wheel sizes should be available. We don't know what colors the Cadillac Vistiq will be offered in, but hues it could borrow from the Lyriq include Stellar Black and Opulent Blue.

Cadillac Vistiq Dimensions

The three-row body style of the Cadillac Vistiq is likely to influence its dimensions, but these specs have yet to be confirmed by the automaker. The length could be more than 200 inches since the Lyriq isn't far off that mark, but the width and height are likely to be similar to the Lyriq's.

No curb weight was mentioned, but a three-row electric SUV can easily top 6,000 pounds at its heaviest.

Cadillac Vistiq Powertrain and Performance

We have no idea what powertrain options will be available to the Cadillac Vistiq, but the badging on the tailgate could provide a clue. The model pictured here is designated as a "600 e4," an unusual alphanumeric code that we also saw on the Escalade IQ (1000 e4). This badge reportedly converts the vehicle's torque from pound-feet to newton meters, then rounds off to the nearest 100. It's a nonsensical system if we ever heard one, but using 600 e4 as a starting point suggests this Vistiq model will have around 440 lb-ft of torque. That aligns nicely with the 450 lb-ft of the most powerful Lyriq, which also has 500 horsepower.

With dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, the Vistiq with this much power should be able to dash to 60 mph in under five seconds. It's unknown if a rear-wheel-drive variant with 340 hp will be available, as is the case with the Lyriq.

A smooth, quiet ride is expected, but the heavy Vistiq probably won't like to be manhandled too much through the bends. Expect hands-free highway driving with Super Cruise to be a breeze.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

Nothing official has been announced regarding charging and range, but the heavier Vistiq may not match the 312-mile range and 89 MPGe combined of the two-row Lyriq. Then again, if it gets a larger battery than the Lyriq's 102-kWh item, it's possible.

The Lyriq can add 77 miles of range in only 10 minutes using DC fast charging, so the Vistiq should be just as capable of rapid recharging.

Cadillac Vistiq Interior and Cargo

Not a single image of the Cadillac Vistiq's interior has been shared yet. The gorgeous Lyriq's cabin is pictured below and indicates that we have a lot to look forward to. It has a 33-inch curved LED display, attractive perforated upholstery, and features like massaging seats.

The seats in the Cadillac Vistiq should be just as opulent, but it remains to be seen how much space the company has managed to free up in the third row. As is common for three-row SUVs, seating for seven should be optionally substituted for a more comfortable six-seater layout, with second-row captain's chairs.

Cargo space in the Cadillac Vistiq should exceed the 28 cubic feet behind the Lyriq's second row, but only if the Vistiq's third row is folded. Being a luxury vehicle, we're certain that hands-free access to the cargo area, along with a power-folding third row, will be available.
