Sitting proudly on top of the Camaro Coupe range is the fire-breathing ZL1. It blends track-ready chassis tuning with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 delivering 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is fed to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic transmission. Launch control and an electronic limited-slip differential are standard.
As aggressive as ever, the ZL1 rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and also gets a ZL1-exclusive rear spoiler, LED daytime running lights, and black bowtie emblems. The exterior can be customized with a central stripe, different wheels, or a carbon-fiber rear spoiler.
The four-seater cabin features Recaro front seats with power adjustment for both the driver and front passenger, along with a driver’s memory system. The eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system packs in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while audio is taken care of by a nine-speaker Bose sound system. Sporty touches like a suede steering wheel with a flat-bottom design, alloy sport pedals, and available carbon-fiber trim are typical of coupes in this segment, while you can also specify a performance data recorder. On the safety front, forward collision alert and eight airbags are among the standard features.
