The 2500 LT is a safer and slightly less utilitarian offering. Instead of vinyl, it has cloth front seats, and carpeted flooring at least makes the cabin a little more inviting. Perhaps the most important additions here are the safety features like cruise control, forward-collision alert, and lane-departure warning. Remote keyless entry and a manually tilting steering column can’t hide the Express’s age, but at least they elevate the LT above the LS.
