2018 Chevrolet Malibu Overview

With a name steeped in history, it should be no surprise to hear your father talking fondly of a Malibu his family might have owned. The new one gets three engine options; a turbo 1.5-liter kicks things off with 163hp, a 2.0-liter turbo outputs 250hp, and a 1.8-liter pairs with electric motors for a 184hp hybrid option. Base models feature a six-speed automatic, but the Premier model gets a newfangled 9-speed auto. Chevrolet’s MyLink offers full mobile connectivity on the go. Available safety features include autonomous emergency braking, a full suite of airbags, crisis assist, and automatic crash response.
