2022 Silverado 1500 LTD Exterior
The Silverado 1500 LTD wouldn't be continuing the 1500 legacy without its trademark good looks. It's a brutish but stylish pickup with an enormous grille up front, flanked by quad headlights. These are halogens on the base WT, but they get upgraded to LEDs or high-intensity headlamps on upper trims. Said trims also receive LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps. The wheels range in size from 17-inch steel items on the WT, all the way up to 20-inch alloys on the High Country. More expensive models include a chrome grille, power-folding side mirrors, and even a power tailgate. The overall look of the Silverado also depends on if you choose to have it with a Regular, Double, or Crew Cab, as well as the length of bed you choose.

Dimensions
With so many different configurations available, the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD has myriad possible dimensions. The main consideration will be the cargo box, which can be 5' 8'', 6' 6'', or eight feet long. If you opt for the Regular Cab and eight-foot cargo bed, it measures 229.5 inches long. This increases to a maximum of 241.2 inches if you choose the Crew Cab and standard bed length combo. Wheelbase length is equally hard to pin down, with trims playing a part as well as cab choice. The shortest configuration is 139.6 inches, while the longest is around 157 inches. All models have a width of 81.2 inches when the side mirrors are extended. Ground clearance and height each have a variable range of 3.1 inches or so. The LTD can stand between 75.4 and 78.5 inches tall and 7.8 to 10.9 inches off the ground. Naturally, all these different setups will weigh in differently. The lightest Silverado starts at 4,335 pounds, while the heaviest tips the scale at 5,345 lbs.

Exterior Colors
Chevrolet offers you a choice of nine different paints to customize your Silverado 1500 LTD pickup truck. Most won't cost you anything extra, with the base WT coming in a choice of Red Hot, Black, and three metallics: Northsky Blue, Silver Ice, and Summit White. In Double Cab guise, the WT trim can also be had in Oxford Brown Metallic.
Move one trim up to the Custom, and Cherry Red Tintcoat becomes available at $495. The LT has all of these colors plus Mosaic Black Metallic and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, the latter costing $995. The range-topping High Country has a more restrained color palette; it eliminated Red Hot, Silver Ice, and Summit White.
The imposing Silverado doesn't need its size to be emphasized in any way so we'd recommend recommend one of the darker shades like Black or Oxford Brown.
