The Chrysler Pacifica is available in four trim levels for 2023: Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle. They all use the same naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 engine, and a nine-speed automatic transmission is standard across the range, although a hybrid variant is available in the top three trims with two electric motors and 260 hp. The entry-level Touring can only be had with FWD, but the other three trims can be ordered with AWD as an option. The V6 engine produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.
Standard equipment is quite comprehensive, with even the entry-level Touring featuring LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats with eight-way power adjustment for the driver, cloth upholstery, a heated steering wheel, second-row sunshades, remote engine start, three-zone climate control, power-sliding rear doors, and a power liftgate. The Chrysler Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 10.1-inch color touchscreen, wireless Apple Airplay and Android Auto, satellite radio, and six speakers for the infotainment baseline, with a Harman Kardon audio system upgrade and rear-seat entertainment system added to higher trim levels.
Standard safety equipment is also impressive, with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure mitigation, rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera forming a solid baseline safety package.
Going up through the range, more features are added to include a panoramic sunroof, artificial- or genuine leather upholstery, third-row sunshades, a surround-view camera, automated parking, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, power-folding third-row seats, and second-row captain's chairs.
The Chrysler Pacifica is offered with a range of optional packages that helps to make each individual car suit the needs of its owner as closely as possible. The base model, for instance, can be geared with the $995 S Appearance Package (but is more expensive on the upper trims), which will add 18-inch Foreshadow alloy wheels, a black grille and window surrounds, and a slew of custom badging. A single overhead DVD system by Mopar will cost $1,195.
The Uconnect Theater Family Group adds the Pinnacle's entire family-entertainment system from the Touring L trim and up. It costs between $2,395 and $4,395, depending on the trim. Touring L models can add the Trailer-Tow Group for $995 for 3,600-lbs towing capacity and it includes a tow hitch, trailer-sway damping, and more. The top-of-the-line Pinnacle AWD is already so fully specced that no packages can be added.
