The base SXT is an underwhelming car. Without the aggressive power bulges and hood scoop, the Charger just looks wrong - it rolls in on demure 17-inch wheels, and could pass for just a normal family sedan quite easily. It’s no luxury car, but the cloth sports seats (eight-way power-adjustable for the driver), user-friendly seven-inch touchscreen, and six-speaker sound system make it a pleasant enough place to spend time in. We would have liked a higher quality interior, but we won’t complain too much because of its keen starting price. It has automatic headlights, a manually tilting/telescoping steering wheel trimmed in leather, manual air-conditioning with dual-zone temperature control, and the basic Uconnect 4 infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice commands, and SiriusXM Radio. Adding the AWD setup enhances things a little by adding LED fog lamps, 19-inch wheels, and automatic dual-zone climate control.
