The Durango R/T is a standalone semi-performance-oriented model that comes specced to the level of a high-end vehicle. In terms of mechanics, the R/T is equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive, with all-wheel-drive optional.
As standard, the R/T rolls on 20-inch satin carbon alloy wheels, is fitted with all-LED exterior lighting, heated, power side-view mirrors, and a power liftgate. Some standard interior features include a power tilt/telescoping steering column, black leather-suede combination upholstery, and tri-zone automatic climate control. Covering infotainment is an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, tethered to an AM/FM/HD/Satellite radio and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system as standard. Functionality in Android Auto and Apple Carplay is standard, along with integrated navigation with voice-activation and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. In the way of safety and driver-assist technologies, there are only front and rear parking sensors, an integrated rearview camera, and cruise control.
