The Escape PHEV is based on the gas Escape’s Active trim, so it has rear privacy glass, a power liftgate, color-coded door handles, dual-zone climate control, illuminated vanity mirrors, push-button start, an eight-way power driver’s seat, four USB ports, and SiriusXM. However, being a single trim, Ford adds a few additional features to it, namely 18-inch alloys, vinyl/cloth combination upholstery, a heated steering wheel and front seats, and the 13.2-inch touchscreen with navigation. It also gets additional driver assists over the Active, notably rear parking sensors, evasive steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist.
