Another step up is the Platinum F-250. It’s only available with the 4X4 drivetrain, as a five-seater, and in the Crew Cab configuration. The multi-contour front bucket seats are even more comfortable than those fitted to the King Ranch, and this trim also gets its own Platinum leather upholstery. The same goes for the wheels, which are bespoke 20-inch alloys in Sparkle Silver with painted pockets. A blind-spot information system with Trailer Tow (a blind-spot sensor is also fitted to the taillamp to account for the extra length of the trailer) makes towing with the Platinum a much less nervous experience for the driver. An available Platinum Ultimate package adds adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with brake support, and a twin-panel moonroof, among other items.
