The XLT retains the sub-$40,000 starting price of the base model but looks and feels less spartan thanks to its 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome grille and bumpers, cloth-upholstered seats, and 4.2-inch LCD productivity screen. It also adds several driver-assist technologies such as blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist, and lane-keeping alert, making it easier to avoid hazards. A larger eight-inch touchscreen forms part of the SYNC 3 infotainment system, which also includes both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
