The Mustang GT has ‘5.0’ exterior badging, 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, a decklid spoiler, and hood vents. Performance hardware includes a limited-slip differential (manual only), an engine-oil cooler, launch control, and Line-Lock, allowing the driver to lock the front brakes for burn-outs. Standard is a six-speed manual, but a ten-speed SelectShift automatic is available. Standard on all GTs is TrackApps that displays track and performance metrics, a 4.2” Sync display, MP3 playback, two USB ports, and a 6-speaker audio system, but no touchscreen or smartphone mirroring. Basic driver aids are standard, including rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and high beams, forward-collision alert with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, and rain-sensing wipers.
