The XLT makes the Transit Connect Cargo Van feel decidedly more SUV than cargo carrier. This is mostly thanks to the addition of rather premium tech features such as wireless phone charging, Ford's MyKey system which allows the owner to set speed and rpm limits, and Ford's Sync3 infotainment system. The Sync3 system is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ready and comes with two USB ports and Bluetooth streaming. You also get cruise control, fog lamps, body-colored panels, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Optional lane-keep assistance and auto headlights make the XLT even more desirable.
