Though considerably lacking in overall comfort and convenience, the XL still features a decent consignment of driver-assists comprised within Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite, which includes a reverse sensing system, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, cruise control, hill-start assist, side-wind stabilization, a rearview camera, curve control, torque vectoring control, and trailer sway control. A blind-spot monitoring system and front reverse sensing system is available for the XL. Unfortunately, passengers in the XL aren’t really prioritized in terms of creature comforts, with no smartphone integration offered from the SYNC infotainment system and only a four-speaker audio system layout available; there is also only one smart-charging USB port located upfront.
