Whereas the AT4 chases adventure-seekers, the Denali’s focus is on on-road refinement, although it still has 4WD and a two-speed transfer case. It comes with the 5.3-liter V8 engine by default. The premium suspension with the continuous damping Adaptive Ride Control offers a smoother ride, and the cabin is decked out in open-pore wood, brushed aluminum, and perforated leather. It also has chrome recovery hooks, dual exhaust outlets, polished 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome assist steps, a bed-view camera, the AT4's external color-coding, and much of the AT4's features, such as the integrated trailer-brake controller, rear pedestrian alert, front and rear parking sensors, trailer blind-zone alert, and hill-descent control. Before the arrival of the Denali Ultimate, this was as opulent as the Sierra got with heated/ventilated seats, a power-adjustable tilting/telescoping steering column, a premium seven-speaker Bose audio system, a universal home remote, heated rear outboard seats, and a power-sliding rear window.
