Unlike the lower trims, the SLT comes with the 5.3-liter V8 engine as standard. Paired with the smooth ten-speed automatic, this results in smoother, more potent performance. The SLT is only compatible with the Crew Cab body style, so there’s more space in the cabin. It’s based on the SLE but adds 18-inch alloys, LED foglights, power-folding side mirrors, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, a rear-window defogger, perimeter lighting, rain-sensing wipers, leather-trimmed outboard front seats, a ten-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a memory system for the driver’s seat and mirror positions.
