The base model in the 2023 GMC Terrain lineup is sparsely equipped, but not entirely devoid of features. In this guise, it gets cloth finishes on the seats, and both driver and front passenger will have to adjust their seats manually to find the optimal position. A seven-inch touchscreen display is standard, and a 4.2-inch color driver cluster is included. Sound goes through six speakers, and the driver assistance suite includes standard cruise control, a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, and lane keep assist, to name just a few. Single-zone air conditioning keeps the cabin at the right temperature.
