The 2019 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell is offered as a premium standalone model, comprehensively equipped with everything the Clarity nameplate has to offer as standard. It’s one of only three hydrogen-powered vehicles available in the U.S. and is available on a lease-only basis at $379 per month for 36 months. Its front wheels are powered by a Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell and 103 kW AC electric motor for outputs of 174 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque directed via a single-speed direct-drive transmission. Standard exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels, all-LED lighting including headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights, heated and power-operated side-view mirrors, and an integrated rear spoiler. On the inside, there’s a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a tilt and telescoping steering column, heated front seats with power-adjustability, push-button start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a HomeLink Remote system, and dual-zone automatic climate control with an air quality management system.
