A pair of sedans make up the Honda Clarity Plug-in lineup, the base namesake model and the Touring. They are mostly identical, with the same 212-hp hybrid powertrain, CVT transmission, and front-wheel drivetrain. They also share the same excellent fuel economy figures of 44/40/42 mpg.
The list of standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, and LED head-, tail-, and daytime running lights. Inside, it is comfortable but basic, with cloth upholstery, manual front seats with heating, and dual-zone climate control. The Honda Sensing safety suite comprises adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with emergency braking, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist, along with a rearview camera. An eight-inch touchscreen grants access to Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto functions, and the eight-speaker sound system can also draw audio from the HD Radio or SiriusXM.
Beyond this base offering, you can also get access to leather upholstery, power front seats, navigation, and rear parking sensors.
