A brief look at the Touring’s extensive features list may make it seem enticing until you realize most of this is available on the EX-L. 20-inch alloy wheels may look the part but at the detriment of ride comfort. Front and rear park sensors are a plus, though, as is acoustic glass on the side windows and windscreen, while the ten-speaker premium audio is great in a vehicle this size. But, the biggest reason to rule the Touring out is the nine-speed automatic transmission which is clunky and provides only a 1 mpg improvement over the smoother-operating six-speed transmission on the lower trims.
