The base model isn’t bare-bones compared to rivals at entry level, but there’s a significant difference between the SE and SEL. The base model comes standard with a 147-hp 2.0-liter engine and FWD. AWD can be added on, and the SE has standard features that include a six-way manually-adjustable driver’s seat, manual air conditioning, a multifunction tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and power windows. It also gets lane keep assist and forward-collision avoidance in the way of safety features.
