2022 Palisade Exterior
It's hard to make an enormous three-row SUV look nondescript, so Hyundai doesn't even try. The Palisade is bold and domineering with a large grille, but the split composite headlights display a certain level of sophistication, too. The side profile is refined, with large but attractive wheel arches housing the 18-inch alloy wheels. These grow to 20-inch wheels on the top trims. Common exterior features include LED headlights and daytime running lights, while roof rails are added from the SEL upwards. It also gets a standard sunroof. The Limited and Calligraphy receive a dual-pane sunroof, instead. The top-tier trim also sports unique exterior trimmings, along with puddle lights. On the top two trims, a hands-free smart liftgate is a welcome addition.

You can't fit three rows of seats into a small car, so the Palisade's impressive dimensions are to be expected. It measures 196.1 inches in length, while its width is 77.8 inches at the widest point. The largest contributing factor to the spacious cabin is the 114.2-inch wheelbase. Though far more at home in the city, the Hyundai can venture a short way off the beaten path thanks to 7.9 inches of ground clearance. It stands just under 70 inches tall with a height measurement of 68.9 inches.
Naturally, all this metal weighs a fair amount, starting at 4,127 pounds on lower-tier front-wheel-drive models with seating for eight and maxing out at 4,387 lbs in all-wheel-drive models that seat seven.

Exterior Colors
The Palisade lineup has a rather demure palette of seven colors, including Rainforest, Typhoon Silver, Sierra Burgundy, Steel Graphite, Abyss Black Pearl, and Moonlight Cloud, all at no extra cost. Hyper White rounds out the options but will add $400 to the total price. There aren't any other ways of adding to the exterior looks, so you'll have to be satisfied with one of these color choices.
