There are a total of five trims in the Hyundai Palisade range: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy. All are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that supplies 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque for the front wheels, though all-wheel drive is available. The gears are managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The base model is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights, as well as a comprehensive safety suite that includes forward collision avoidance, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and highway assist. Meanwhile, the infotainment system comprises wireless smartphone integration, HD Radio, SiriusXM, Wi-Fi, and a six-speaker sound system. A proximity key with push-button start and remote engine start is standard, along with Bluelink.
Available features include power-adjustable seats with heating and ventilation, automatic climate control, wireless charging, improved blind-spot monitoring, a head-up display, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
There is only one major package, as each of the specifications is quite comprehensive. However, the specs of the Hyundai Palisade change so much when you equip the SEL with the Premium Package, that it could almost be considered a new configuration. This $4,950 bundle adds 20-inch alloys, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a blind-spot view monitor, heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, highway driving assist II, and the 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Some of the standalone options include the so-called winter package for $340 and roof rack cross trails for $315. The second row of seats can be switched between a bench or captain's chairs for free.
