The middle child of the Santa Fe Hybrid family is the SEL Premium. Far from being a problem child, this mid-range trim adds a ton of value for a reasonable price increase. The SEL Premium shares its 1.6-liter turbo/hybrid powertrain with the base model but adds premium features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, H-Tex leatherette upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and even increases the overall safety of the car thanks to the addition of surround-view and blind-spot-view monitors. The infotainment system also sees an upgrade in the form of a 12-speaker premium Harman Kardon sound system. A panoramic sunroof is the cherry on top.
