2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Trims & Specs

There are five Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid trims, and the specs of the two hybrid powertrain configurations differ, with one being a regular hybrid (HEV) and the other a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The three HEV trim levels are Blue, SEL Premium, and Limited, whereas the PHEV can be had in SEL Convenience and Limited trims. All Santa Fe Hybrid models are powered by the same turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder gas engine with 178 hp and 195 lb-ft coupled to a 60-hp/195-lb-ft electric motor in the HEV. The hybrid system produces a combined 226 hp. Power is sent to an HTRAC all-wheel-drive system via a six-speed automatic transmission. The Santa Fe PHEV has improved specifications, with the same gas engine but a more powerful 90-hp/224-lb-ft electric motor, so the system produces 261 hp combined, and it is able to travel for 30 miles on electric power alone, thanks to the 13.8-kWh battery.

Standard features on the base model include an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, and a newly standard 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation. The system loses last year's wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and phone mirroring now requires connecting via USB cable,though. Upper trims come with features like leatherette or leather upholstery, an eight-way power front passenger seat, a blind-spot-view monitor, and a heated steering wheel. There are no packages to add to any of the trims, only some standalone options such as a tow hitch, cargo solutions, and protection features.

All models come standard with LED exterior lighting, a hands-free liftgate, dual-zone climate control, rearview monitor, forward-collision avoidance with pedestrian alert, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, rear parking sensors, and lane-keep assist.
