Riding on 17-inch alloys and equipped with halogen headlights, the base model Santa Fe is surprisingly good value for money, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, forward collision avoidance and lane-keeping assist all coming standard. Many, if not all, of these features are often added at extra cost in the non-luxury SUV segment. You will have to settle for basic air conditioning and a six-speaker sound system, however. But, you do get Hyundai’s user-friendly seven-inch infotainment display, as well as a rear occupant alert, and smart cruise control. Even the lowest trim offers an all-wheel-drive option.
