The entry point to the 2018 Tucson range carries a budget price and budget specification to go with it. Interior materials feel tacky and the five-inch infotainment screen, only available on the SE, lacks crucial Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. As a plus, the seats are comfortable and offer the same range of adjustment as the rest of the range, and there are no compromises from a practicality standpoint. The engine is a lowlight here.
