The F-Type R convertible and its coupe sibling (reviewed separately) have been refreshed for the 2021 model year and feature distinctive new styling cues. However, changes have been made beneath the surface too, with upgrades in suspension and exhaust tuning. A new 12.3-inch configurable driver info display is also new, as is a Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen. Thanks to these changes, the car handles better than before, rides better, and is easier to live with on a daily basis. Still, it’s thirsty and has a tiny trunk and cabin, so it may be worth weighing up other options before signing on the dotted line.
