The base Laredo is exceptional value for money. You do lose out on some of the shock and awe features, but as basic, honest transport, this model is perfectly fine. It comes with full LED exterior lights, but you have to open the heavy tailgate using only your arms. On the inside, it comes with upmarket cloth upholstery, eight-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat, tri-zone climate control, and the latest version of Jeep’s Uconnect infotainment system, which is excellent. Most impressive of all is the sheer amount of driver assistance features, which is a huge bonus considering this is a family car. Sadly, it only comes with the V6, but you can choose 2WD or 4WD.
