The Latitude trim is the new entry-level model in the Renegade range, and it is quite sparsely equipped. The seats are upholstered in cloth and adjusted manually, and the steering wheel is rendered in plain polyurethane. There are some highlights, though, such as the dual-zone climate control and a six-speaker audio system fronted by an 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C color touchscreen with built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Of greater importance is this trim’s comprehensive standard safety feature list, which includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera.
