The range-topping Jeep Wagoneer gets a few extra goodies in comparison to the Series II, with the addition of a head-up display, automatic high beams, heated second-row seats, and power-reclining third-row seats being the major drawcards. More importantly, the Series III can be optioned with a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system upgrade and power side steps, along with a host of other available extras. If AWD is specified, the Series III receives the Quadra-Trac II AWD system with a two-speed transfer case. Load-leveling rear suspension is standard on the 2WD and height-adjustable adaptive air suspension is standard on the 4WD.
