Moving up to the LXS retains the Forte’s strong value proposition but adds a few welcome extras to offer a slightly more premium feel. Outside, the larger alloy wheels replace the base version’s steel items and the front bumper features gloss black accents. A more customizable driving experience is offered here, with drivers able to choose between Comfort, Smart, and Sport modes. The cabin also has nice materials, with a soft-touch covering on the dashboard and door panels, while a split-folding rear seat is more versatile than the FE’s bench which folds forward as one piece. The LXS is only available with the CVT transmission.
