Kia has released the first images of the redesigned 2021 Sedona minivan, which takes on a more SUV-like appearance. Specifical details such as what's under the hood will be released at a later date. For now, only a few exterior photos have been revealed and we like what we see. Interior images will also be released in due time.
Kia says the new Sedona features a shorter front overhang and an increased wheelbase that allows for more interior space. The blacked-out A- and B-pillars help create a "floating roof" design and there's a character line running from the headlights to the taillights. The chrome-covered C-pillar styling is inspired by the new Sorento crossover. The enhanced wheel arches are another nice design element.
Up front features the latest iteration of Kia's "Tiger-Nose" grille, which is flanked by LED headlights and LED daytime running lights.
Complete details and more photos inside and out will arrive in the near future.
