The base model is the lowest in the range and comes with a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine connected to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. It pushes out 130 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with the Convenience Package which includes a seven-inch infotainment unit with Kia’s Uvo system, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The base model also has many other standard features such as four-wheel ABS brakes, traction control, stability control, tire pressure monitor, emergency brake assist, and of course airbags. It is not possible to upgrade the base model with any other packages, so you’re stuck with manual air conditioning and cloth seats.
