Lamborghini’s ‘junior’ supercar, the Huracan, gets the drop-top treatment with the attention-grabbing Huracan Spyder. Featuring the same dynamic capability as the coupe, the Spyder also gets a soft-top roof that can be electrically lowered in 17 seconds. Power is derived from a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 571 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque in the rear-wheel-drive LP580-2 and 602 hp/412 lb-ft in the all-wheel-drive LP610-4. Both models use a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Outside, the 580 has 19-inch wheels, swelling to 20-inch items on the 610, while both feature LED lighting, power exterior mirrors, and parking sensors. The sporty cabin features a variety of seating options, along with dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable seats, a four-speaker audio system, a 12.3-inch high-resolution TFT digital display, a driving mode selector on the steering wheel, and a rearview camera. An advanced traction control system and four airbags are fitted. A smartphone interface, Bluetooth, and navigation are available.
