The Land Rover Discovery trims encompass two basic powertrain configurations, starting with the 2.0-liter engine in the P300 trims with specs of 296 hp. The P360 pairs a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid assistance to produce 355 hp. Regardless of the engine choice, all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission are among the standard specifications. There are five trim levels in total: P300 S, P300 R-Dynamic S, P360 R-Dynamic S, P360 R-Dynamic HSE, and P360 Metropolitan Edition.
The Discovery S is already well-equipped and comes with 20-inch wheels, a front opening sunroof and rear panoramic roof, LED headlights, heated and 14-way power-adjustable front seats, three-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, a 12-speaker Meridian audio system, and a power tailgate. Driver-assistance tech includes adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, a 3D-surround view camera system, and blind-spot monitoring. All R-Dynamic variants get black exterior detailing and special badging. The top trims boast 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, and 20-way power-adjustable front seats. Many package options are available, from towing packages and wheel upgrades to protection and storage-solution packages.
All Discovery models can be upgraded with a selection of standalone options or packages. On the base model, the Cold Climate Pack adds a heated windshield, heated washer jets, and a heated steering wheel for $600. Other add-ons include a tow hitch receiver for $700, a gesture-activated liftgate for $100, a refrigerated center-console compartment for $700, and four-zone climate control on its own for $500. The range-topping 14-speaker Meridian audio system goes for $750.
On six-cylinder models, you can opt for the Towing Pack at $1,150, which adds All Terrain Progress Control, Terrain Response 2, advanced tow assist, and a tow hitch receiver.
