The Range Rover Evoque has been completely redesigned for the 2020 model year. It may look very similar from the outside but everything save for the door hinges is new. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine offering 246 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque is the standard powertrain while an all-new mild-hybrid engine offering 296 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque is now an option. Both engines send their power to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission.
There are six trim levels to choose from with notable features including twin touchscreens, a fully digital instrument panel and full smartphone compatibility incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as ClearSight Ground View, a system which allows the driver to see in front of and below the car using a set of cameras. The wheelbase is longer than before liberating some interior space and a full range of driver aids can be also optioned. The Evoque’s off-roading credentials have been bolstered with the inclusion of Land Rover's Terrain Response 2 system incorporating drive modes for varying terrain surfaces.
