The Ultra Luxury spec adds some nice-to-have features, but nothing you’d really need daily. While standard blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert are made standard in the mid-spec Luxury trim, this feature is further bolstered here with rear pedestrian detection and a panoramic view monitor. We like the idea of a power rear sunshade but can live without it. The same goes for the auto-open trunk. Since the ES’s ride is so spot-on, we see little benefit in adding performance dampers. The infotainment screen here is upgraded to a 12.3-inch unit and navigation is made standard.
