For a saving of around $4,500, the base Lexus IS 500 still comes with all the equipment you’d expect - and it gets the same V8 engine, the key ingredient in the IS 500 package. Outside, the recently revamped IS body is embellished by 19-inch Enkei alloy wheels with a dark finish, while LED lighting is standard at both ends of the body. This model uses the smaller eight-inch touchscreen interface and has the standard sound system, but at least Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both there. Heated and ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, intelligent high beams, road sign assist, radar cruise control, and lane tracing assist are all standard.
