With a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood, the Trofeo offers the kind of power you’d expect from an Italian performance car. It has launch control to help its owner rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. The adaptive suspension makes it extremely stiff for canyon carving but reasonably comfortable in town. With 17 speakers, the Trofeo has a decent sound system, but, unfortunately, Maserati has borrowed an inferior infotainment system widely used in Chrysler and Jeep products.
