2020 Levante Exterior
Perhaps not as resolved a design as other luxury SUVs, the Levante looks like a raised wagon in the rear three-quarter view, with a curving pair of haunches that are intended to make it look more aggressive. The rest of it, however, is suitably exotic, with the front grille bearing the Maserati trident prominently. Available LED running lights add sharpness to the headlights, which can be had with an LED matrix setup, while LED fog lights separated from other styling accents add width and boldness to the front design. The front fenders feature the trademark triple vent, while the large C-pillar exhibits the Maserati crest again. At the rear, the LED taillights are reminiscent of those on the GranTurismo coupe, while a quad exhaust is available on higher trims to replace the base dual-exit setup. Wheel sizes vary, with 19s as standard and 20s available.

The GTS version, or any model specced with 20-inch wheels, will have a height of 66.9 inches. Curb weight varies depending on specification too, with the base models weighing 4,650 pounds while the GTS with its bigger 3.8-liter V8 weighs a little more at 4,784 lbs. Ground clearance measures around eight inches, although we'd be highly amused to ever see a Maserati SUV taking on an off-road trail.

Exterior Colors
A large selection of colors is available for the base Levante and Levante S, with Nero and Bianco, or Black and White to the layman, as the standard option. Metallic colors cost $1,000, with Nero Ribelle, Grigio Maratea, Grigio, Rame, Blu Passione, and the stunning Blu Emozione available. $2,700 will give you access to Bianco Alpi or Blu Nobile. The GTS is more limited in choice, with only Bianco available as a no-cost option. The metallic options are slashed too but cost the same as on other trims. Nero Ribelle, Grigio Maratea, Grigio, Blu Emozione, and Bianco Alpi are the only choices here.
