Apart from a modest step up in standard features, the Touring is also more customizable, as it gets access to the Premium Package, which gives the model many of the features that come standard on the more expensive Grand Touring. In terms of additional standard features, the Touring gets leather-appointed seats, a power passenger seat, advanced keyless entry, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The upgrade to the nine-inch Mazda Connect touchscreen is a significant improvement as it grants the Touring access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The power liftgate is a nice convenience, too.
