The base Mazda 3 gets an enhanced safety specification for 2020, bringing it in line with other trims and the competition. It now features the likes of standard smart brake support, lane departure warning, and radar-based cruise control with a Stop & Go function. This model rides on smaller 16-inch alloy wheels but still features LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights. An eight-speaker audio system, USB audio inputs, HD Radio, and Bluetooth connectivity take care of entertainment, while air conditioning is standard as well. This is the only trim that doesn’t have the option of all-wheel drive.
