2023 AMG C43 Sedan Safety

The NHTSA and IIHS have not crash-tested any variation of the W206 Mercedes-Benz C-Class range, including the AMG C43, so there is no clear indication as to how it would perform in a collision.

2023 AMG C43 Sedan Key Safety Features

When it comes to standard safety features, the Mercedes-AMG C43 has most of the essential areas covered. Parktronic features front and rear parking sensors with active parking assist and a surround-view camera system making for easy parking events while stationary security is covered by the Guard 360 system. In the event of a collision, the sedan's driver and passengers are protected by a seven-airbag configuration that covers the front and knees of the driver and passenger, curtains, and sides. Safety assist systems consist of ABS with electronic brake distribution and brake assist, and traction and electronic stability control. Driver assistance is provided by blind spot assist with exit alert, and adaptive braking technology. The Driver Assistance package adds active brake assist, adaptive cruise control, and the Mercedes-Benz Emergency Call Service.

No recalls have been issued for any of the W206 C-Class models, so there is nothing to speak of regarding the Mercedes-AMG C43's reliability at this point. Considering the range was recently introduced to the market, it is also yet to receive any ratings from J.D. Power. A 48-month or 50,000-mile warranty for the Mercedes-AMG C43 is standard, but this can be extended by three more years.
