The Mercedes-AMG C63 is offered in two guises for 2021, but both feature a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that directs its power to the rear wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. While the base model rides on 18-inch wheels and wears gray paint on its calipers, the S model gets 19-inch alloys with red brake calipers. Those red bits indicate that you’re getting high-performance brakes as standard, but the C63 S also boasts the addition of dynamic engine mounts and a steering-mounted drive mode selector. But if you get the so-called base model, you still get a Burmester sound system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. But despite a premium price, you have to pay extra for navigation on either model.
