The SL 63 is the pinnacle of large luxury mega-power roadsters on offer from Mercedes. With a 0-60mph time of four seconds flat and a top speed of 186 mph, the circa 4,100-pound cabriolet is a juggernaut of exceedingly quick low-flying for the road. Add in the massaging seats with heating and ventilation, plus warm-air vents behind your neck, as well as the dual-zone climate control and hands-free power trunk lid, and this is as practical and as comfortable as can be expected from a two-seater with this much capability on the road. The infotainment, although a little tired now, features a great sound system as well as SiriusXM, a six-disc CD changer, and Bluetooth. Other useful features include adaptive LED headlights and wipers and options like a driver drowsiness monitor, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
