The convertible model of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in two trim levels: the standard E450 Cabriolet and the E450 4Matic Cabriolet. Under the hood of the convertible is a 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 engine that develops 362 hp and 369 lb-ft. The powertrain is mated to a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox, with rear-wheel-drive on the E450 and all-wheel-drive on the 4Matic.
Riding on 18-inch wheels, the base model comes equipped with a full array of LED lighting elements. The interior is upholstered in leather with power-adjustable front sport seats, and dual-zone climate control keeps occupants comfortable, as does the Airscarf neck-level heating. Cruise control, keyless entry and ignition, and a 12.3-inch driver information display are all standard features. Safety is covered by the rearview camera, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot assist, attention assist, and the new Car-to-X communication system. A 12.3-inch high-resolution display grants access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD Radio, and SiriusXM, channeled through a 13-speaker Burmester sound system. Available features include rear cross-traffic alert, parking assist, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and Nappa leather-appointed multi-contour front seats with massage functions.
