2023 EQE Sedan Exterior
The exterior of the Mercedes EQE is obviously similar to that of the EQS, as both adopt the new EQ architecture and the aesthetic that goes with it. Naturally, LED tail- and headlights are the norm, and the grille is smoothed over, as is common on most EVs. There are still side air intakes, but these, too, have been blanked off as they are entirely cosmetic. This gives the front fascia a very different appearance than long-time fans will be used to, and some might not like it. A panoramic roof is standard, and it slopes down towards the rear, giving an almost coupe-like appearance to the vehicle. The taillights form a solid bar that runs across the trunk lid, which is electronically powered and offers hands-free access.
If the standard exterior is too bland for your tastes, the $2,200 AMG Line Exterior package equips a deep front apron, simulated intakes with horizontal strakes, flared side sills, and a rear bumper with vertical breakaway edge detailing and twin diffusers. The wheels are 19 inches as standard on every trim, but you can upgrade to 20- or 21-inch normal or AMG variants.

Without the mirrors, the car is 77.2 inches wide, and it comes with a 122.8-inch wheelbase. Curb weight starts at a hefty 5,170 pounds on the base 350+ and tops out at 5,424 lbs on the 500 4Matic.

Exterior Colors
You get a generous palette of eleven exterior colors for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan, starting with Black and Polar White. The metallic hues include Obsidian Black, Graphite Grey, Twilight Blue, Cirrus Silver, and Selenite Grey. To access the Manufaktur paints, you have to pay an extra $1,750, which unlocks Alpine Grey, Moonlight White metallic, and Patagonia Red metallic.
