The only difference between the three 450+ trims and the three 450 4Matic trims is the powertrain. The former has a single rear motor and the latter has dual motors with fully variable 4Matic AWD. The dual motors develop the same maximum power of 355 hp, but torque is up significantly to 590 lb-ft and acceleration to 60 mph is 0.7 seconds faster at 5.8 seconds. The heavier powertrain does come with a 243-pound weight penalty though and reduces the driving range by 20 miles.
