The range of Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV comes in three flavors: RWD 450+, AWD 450 4Matic, and AWD 580 4Matic, each of which is available in Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnaclesub-trims. This effectively creates nine trim levels. The basic Premium sub-trim gets 20-inch alloy wheels, a power liftgate, dual-zone climate control with pre-entry climate preparation, keyless go, a panoramic roof, leather upholstery, ventilated power front seats, power second-row seats, and 64-color ambient interior lighting. Standard driver assists include parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and the Driver Assistance package that adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot, lane, and rear cross-traffic systems, and automatic braking. The MBUX infotainment system comprises a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and 12.8-inch portrait touchscreen, complete with "Hey, Mercedes" keyword activation, wireless smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, navigation, over-the-air updates, HD Radio, SiriusXM, and a 710W, 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround-sound audio system.
Higher trims gain features such four-zone climate control, massaging front seats, heated second-row seats, air purification, the MBUX Interior Assistant, a second-row wireless charging pad and MBUX tablet, and rear side airbags. Optional features include a rear-seat entertainment system, five-zone climate control, a head-up display, and more.
Similar package options are available for the various Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV models. A package unique to the Premium trims is the $950 Winter package that includes heating for the steering wheel, windshield washers, and second-row seats. Some features that are standard on the higher trims and not on the Premium are offered optionally on the lower trim, such as the massaging front seats ($1,100), the rapid front-seat heating ($450), and the four-zone climate control ($860).
The 450+ and 450 4Matic models have access to the 580 4Matic's AMG Line Exterior package with its larger wheels and different fascias for $2,200. The Exclusive and Pinnacle sub-trims get access to a head-up display ($1,100), which is not available on the Premium at all. Only the Pinnacle is eligible for the MBUX Augmented Reality head-up display for $2,200.
A third row can be added for $1,250, which can be heated for an additional $360. Other options include an Acoustic Comfort package, which comes with laminated and acoustically insulated front and side glass ($1,010), five-zone climate control ($1,360 on the two-zone Premium and $500 on the four-zone Exclusive and Pinnacle), the Manufaktur Interior package with Nappa leather upholstery and illuminated second-row belt buckles ($4,750), a rear-seat entertainment system ($2,900), and a heated steering wheel ($250).
